Allied air units involved in the destroying Libya’s air assets.

Only units of the US, British, Canadian, French and Belgian forces depicted.

The data for this graphic is dated March 2011. Many of the airfields indicated were built by the British and the Italians during World War II, and one by the Americans, at Tripoli.
